Covid-19 Updates

Samaritan Center continues to closely monitor the rapidly evolving COVID19/coronavirus situation. The safety, health and security of our guests, volunteers and staff is our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution and to re-inforce the need for social distancing, the Samaritan Center has modified its operations to a “take-out” model of service. At this time, scheduled meal times will remain unchanged and meals will be provided daily under this new model. Our goal is to continue to provide uninterrupted meal service for the vulnerable folks we serve while maintaining appropriate health and safety measures  Since the transition, things are going smoothly and scheduled meal times are unchanged. Our guests are appreciative and grateful that meals are still available but they are missing the conversation and Samaritan Center family of friends.

Currently we have scaled back to 5 volunteers for meal service and 3 for meal prep. At this time we are not processing volunteer applications but you are welcome to complete an application online and we will contact you once we are back on a regular schedule.  Thank you to all who have continued to join us and all who have offered to pick up donations. We are grateful to all of  the folks who have been reaching out to see what we are in need of.  Click below to find out our current list of needed items - items can be dropped off to the center Monday thru Friday 9 am until 12 pm.

These times are difficult for all of us, but are significantly more challenging for the population served by the Samaritan Center. Your donations are greatly appreciated.
