"A Non-Event, Giving Celebration" recognizing Haylor, Freyer & Coon

Each year, the Samaritan Center hosts their spring fundraiser - a family-style spring dinner  - “Raise the Plate- Good Samaritan Awards Dinner” – where recognition is given to Good Samaritans in our community.  This year our honorees were our friends at Haylor, Freyer and Coon who are true corporate citizens and longtime volunteers and supporters of the Center.  Due to the serious nature of the current pandemic, we changed this year’s Annual Dinner in it’s typical format and hosted a "Non-Event, Giving Celebration."

Our “A Non-Event, Giving Celebration”  was held on Friday, May 8, 2020.  The "Giving Celebration" encouraged our invitees to savor a night in the comfort of their own homes and enjoy a menu and dress code of their choice while still supporting the important work of Samaritan Center.  A social media stream of videos were featured on our facebook page where a few special folks shared some words and stories.  Here are the links to messages that were shared that night.

These times are very difficult for all of us, but are significantly more challenging for the population served by the Samaritan Center.  Now more than ever we need your continued support.   If you haven't had a chance to join in yet, please consider to donate at the link above or below. All donations will support the critical work of the Samaritan Center and are fully tax deductable.   As always a heartfelt thanks.

Many thanks to all of our sponsors this year!
